Our view is that only qualified accountants who are members of the Institute of Chartered Accountants are used to provide taxation advice - we have seen far too many examples of poor quality taxation advice in recent years being provided by inappropriately qualified people that has caused significant issues with Inland Revenue in respect of which we have been called in to resolve and in many cases negotiate a settlement.
